The members of the multidisciplinary clinical-biological medical team referred to in article L. 2141-2, working in a centre for medically assisted procreation as defined in article R. 2142-8, appoint from among their number, for a renewable period of two years, under the conditions laid down by the centre’s internal regulations, a coordinator for all the activities carried out there. The name of this coordinator is communicated to the regional health agency and the Agence de la biomédecine. The coordinating practitioner is responsible for organising the multidisciplinary consultation referred to in article L. 2141-2 prior to the implementation of any medically assisted procreation.
