The holder(s) of the authorisations to carry out the clinical and biological activities necessary for the implementation of in vitro fertilisation as mentioned in article R. 2142-6 shall jointly set up, on the same site, a centre for medically assisted procreation. This centre is located in the health establishment authorised to carry out clinical activities. It includes the multidisciplinary clinical-biological medical team referred to in article L. 2141-2, the composition of which is set out in article R. 2142-18.
This team draws up a joint medical file for each couple.
The authorisation holder(s) shall jointly draw up the centre’s internal regulations, after obtaining the opinion of the clinical-biological medical team. They approve the joint annual activity report, drawn up under the conditions laid down in article R. 2142-37 and send it to the regional health agency and the Agence de la biomédecine.
When the holder of the authorisation to carry out the biological activities referred to in Article R. 2142-6 is a medical biology analysis laboratory, it carries out these activities in premises that are separate from the laboratory’s main premises, in accordance with the provisions of Article R. 2142-26.
