The declaration of embryonic stem cell storage provided for in the sixth paragraph of Article L. 2151-9 shall be sent to the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine by any means enabling receipt to be acknowledged and the declaration to be dated.
It shall be accompanied by a file designating the person responsible for storage and specifying his or her responsibilities. The file includes a general description of the storage conditions enabling the Agence de la biomédecine to ensure, in particular, that the cells can be traced, that means have been implemented to prevent their contamination and that the requirements laid down, where applicable, by the order of the Minister for Health referred to in Article R. 2142-27 have been complied with, in the case of storage by the nitrogen. The form and content of the application shall be determined by decision of the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine.
When the application is complete, the Director General shall issue the applicant with a receipt for the declaration. The receipt shall mention the name of the person responsible for storage.
The declared activity may be undertaken on receipt of the receipt.
