Article R2151-8 of the French Public Health Code

All research authorised under article L. 2151-5 is placed under the direction of a responsible person designated by the application mentioned in article R. 2151-6.

The person responsible for the research sends the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine an annual report. The final report is sent to the Director General as soon as the research has been completed. These reports shall contain, in particular, information relating to the fate of the embryos that were the subject of the protocol.

The Director General of the Agency may at any time ask the person responsible for the research to report on the progress of the work.

Toute recherche autorisée au titre de l’article L. 2151-5 est placée sous la direction d’une personne responsable désignée par la demande mentionnée à l’article R. 2151-6.

La personne responsable de la recherche adresse au directeur général de l’agence de la biomédecine un rapport annuel. Elle lui fait parvenir le rapport final de la recherche dès l’achèvement de celle-ci. Ces rapports contiennent en particulier les informations relatives au devenir des embryons ayant fait l’objet du protocole.

Le directeur général de l’agence peut à tout moment demander à la personne responsable de la recherche de rendre compte de l’état d’avancement des travaux.
