Article R221-2-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

When a condominium association applies for the increased ceiling mentioned in the first paragraph of article R. 221-2, it must submit the summary sheet mentioned inarticle 1 of decree no. 2016-1822 of 21 December 2016 setting out the content of the summary sheet for condominiums provided for inarticle 8-2 of the law of 10 July 1965 establishing the status of condominiums in built-up areas, along with its application to the establishment distributing this booklet. If this summary is not provided, the ceiling of 76,500 euros mentioned in the same first paragraph of article R. 221-2 applies.

The institution will make its decision within thirty days of receiving the request.

The holder shall inform the credit institution in writing of any event involving a change in the Livret A limit.

Article R221-2-1

Lorsqu’un syndicat de copropriétaires sollicite le bénéficie du plafond majoré mentionné au premier alinéa de l’article R. 221-2, il accompagne sa demande auprès de l’établissement distribuant ce livret de la fiche synthétique mentionnée à l’article 1er du décret n° 2016-1822 du 21 décembre 2016 fixant le contenu de la fiche synthétique de la copropriété prévue par l’article 8-2 de la loi du 10 juillet 1965 fixant le statut de la copropriété des immeubles bâtis. A défaut de communication de cette fiche, le plafond de 76 500 euros mentionné à ce même premier alinéa de l’article R. 221-2 s’applique.

L’établissement se prononce dans un délai de trente jours suivant la réception de cette demande.

Le titulaire informe par écrit l’établissement de crédit de tout événement impliquant un changement de plafond du livret A.
