Article R222-13 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

An order for delivery or restitution shall be served on the person required to surrender the property.
On pain of being declared null and void, service of the order shall contain a summons to have, within a period of fifteen days:
1° Either to transport the designated property at his own expense to a place and under the conditions indicated;
2° Or, if the holder of the property has defences to put forward, to lodge an objection at the registry of the judge who made the order, by declaration against a receipt or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, failing which the order shall be declared enforceable.

L’ordonnance portant injonction de délivrer ou restituer est signifiée à celui qui est tenu de la remise.
La signification contient, à peine de nullité, sommation d’avoir, dans un délai de quinze jours :
1° Soit à transporter à ses frais le bien désigné en un lieu et dans les conditions indiquées ;
2° Soit, si le détenteur du bien a des moyens de défense à faire valoir, à former opposition au greffe du juge qui a rendu l’ordonnance, par déclaration contre récépissé ou par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception, faute de quoi l’ordonnance est rendue exécutoire.
