Article R2324-47-4 of the French Public Health Code

In kindergartens, in application of article R. 2324-43, the number of staff placed with the children is calculated in such a way as to ensure compliance with the following requirements:

1° For children under three years of age: the presence of one professional for six children on average;

2° For children aged three and over: an average of one professional for every fifteen children.

Dans les jardins d’enfants, en application de l’article R. 2324-43, l’effectif du personnel placé auprès des enfants est calculé de manière à assurer le respect des exigences suivantes :

1° Pour les enfants de moins de trois ans : la présence d’un professionnel pour six enfants en moyenne ;

2° Pour les enfants de trois ans et plus : la présence d’un professionnel pour quinze enfants en moyenne.
