Article R24-21 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The distances mentioned in article R. 24-18 are brought to the attention of the protected person, who is given a remote protection device. The protected person is also informed that, if necessary, the teleoperators responsible for remote control of the anti-tampering bracelet will attach him or her to ensure that he or she is kept safe. She is informed that she can contact the remote operator directly at any time.

The authorised persons in charge of remote control contact, as required and in accordance with established procedures, the police and gendarmerie forces, as well as the protected person in order to ensure his/her protection.

Les distances mentionnées à l’article R. 24-18 sont portées par tout moyen à la connaissance de la personne protégée, à laquelle est attribué un dispositif de téléprotection. Elle est également avisée qu’en cas de nécessité, les téléopérateurs chargés du contrôle à distance du bracelet anti-rapprochement prennent son attache pour assurer sa mise en sécurité. Elle est avisée qu’elle peut à tout moment contacter directement le téléopérateur.

Les personnes habilitées chargées du contrôle à distance contactent, selon le besoin et les procédures établies, les forces de police et de gendarmerie, ainsi que la personne protégée afin d’assurer sa protection.
