Article R3115-50 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of a risk to public health, an inspection of aircraft may be carried out at the request of the Prefect by the officials mentioned in article L. 3115-1, at all airports that are points of entry within the meaning of article R. 3115-6, and may focus in particular on checking the disinsectisation of aircraft or their general hygiene.

En cas de risque pour la santé publique, une inspection des aéronefs peut être effectuée à la demande du préfet par les agents mentionnés à l’article L. 3115-1, sur l’ensemble des aéroports ayant la qualité de point d’entrée au sens de l’article R. 3115-6, et peut notamment porter sur le contrôle de la désinsectisation des aéronefs ou sur l’hygiène générale de ces derniers.
