Article R3124-10 of the French Labour Code

Failure to pay a 25% increase in salary for each hour of overtime worked in excess of one tenth of the duration stipulated in the contract, in breach of the provisions of articles L. 3123-21 and L. 3123-29 or of II of article 14 of law no. 2000-37 of 19 January 2000 relating to the negotiated reduction of working hours, is punishable by a fourth-class fine.
Contraventions give rise to as many fines as there are unduly employed employees.

Le fait de ne pas accorder une majoration de salaire de 25 % pour chaque heure complémentaire accomplie au-delà du dixième de la durée stipulée au contrat en méconnaissance des dispositions des articles L. 3123-21 et L. 3123-29 ou du II de l’article 14 de la loi n° 2000-37 du 19 janvier 2000 relative à la réduction négociée du temps de travail, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la quatrième classe.
Les contraventions donnent lieu à autant d’amendes qu’il y a de salariés indûment employés.
