Article R321-36-3 of the French Commercial code

Each candidate makes a declaration that includes his surname, forenames and signature, as well as those of his substitute. He shall specify his place of practice in the constituency for which he is standing as a candidate, as well as that of his substitute. No person may appear as a candidate or substitute on more than one nomination paper.
Nomination papers shall be delivered to the Chairman of the Conseil des Maisons de Vente against a receipt or shall be sent to him by any means that confers a date and time certain of their receipt, no later than 6 p.m. (Paris time) on the fifteenth day preceding the date of the ballot.

Chaque candidat fait une déclaration qui comporte, ses nom, prénoms et signature, ainsi que ceux de son suppléant. Il précise son lieu d’exercice dans la circonscription au titre de laquelle il présente sa candidature, ainsi que celui de son suppléant. Nul ne peut figurer en qualité de titulaire ou de suppléant sur plus d’une déclaration de candidature.


Les déclarations de candidature sont remises au président du Conseil des maisons de vente contre récépissé ou lui sont adressées par tout moyen conférant date et heure certaines à leur réception, au plus tard à 18 heures (heure de Paris) le quinzième jour précédant la date du scrutin.
