Article R321-36-9 of the French Commercial code

Any elector may lodge a complaint against the elections with the Paris Court of Appeal within five days of the announcement of the results. The appeal shall be sent by any means that confers a certain date of receipt to the clerk’s office of the court of appeal. The appeal may also be lodged by the Government Commissioner referred to in article R. 321-40.

The appeal is heard and judged in the same way as the other appeals.
The appeal is investigated and judged as described in article R. 321-53.

Tout électeur peut déférer les élections à la cour d’appel de Paris dans le délai de cinq jours à compter de la proclamation des résultats. La réclamation est adressée par tout moyen conférant date certaine à sa réception au greffe de la cour d’appel. Le recours peut aussi être exercé par le commissaire du Gouvernement mentionné à l’article R. 321-40.


Le recours est instruit et jugé comme il est dit à l’article R. 321-53.
