The objection referred to in article L. 324-8-2 is notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by any other means that can be used to certify the date of receipt and the identity of the addressee, including by electronic means. No reasons need to be given for the objection.
In support of his objection, the author must produce a copy of an identity document and a declaration on his honour attesting to his status. Any successors in title must also provide a deed of notoriety attesting to their status.
In support of his opposition, the holder of related rights shall produce, in addition to a copy of an identity document, any document likely to prove his rights. In addition to a copy of an identity document, the other rightholders must produce any document proving their rights.
The copyright holder and the holder of related rights must specify the protected works or objects covered by this opposition.
