The College provided for in Article L. 3211-9 shall be composed of three members of the staff of the establishment where the patient is admitted.
The formation of each panel is determined by the director or legal representative of the institution. The following are members of the college for each patient
1° The psychiatrist primarily responsible for the patient whose situation is being examined or, failing this, another psychiatrist involved in the patient’s care;
2° A representative of the multidisciplinary team involved in the patient’s care, appointed by the director of the establishment;
3° A psychiatrist who is not involved in the patient’s care, designated by name by the director of the establishment, after consulting the chairman of the establishment’s medical commission or the medical conference for doctors.
The director or the legal representative of the institution shall include the names of the three members in the notice convening the meeting.
