I.-The training programme referred to in the first paragraph of article L. 3332-1-1 for the issue of a business licence consists of at least twenty hours of instruction spread over at least three days. These courses do not include any form of propaganda, advertising or direct or indirect promotion of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products.
By way of derogation from the first paragraph, if the person concerned has ten years’ professional experience as an operator on the date of the opening, transfer, relocation or transfer, the training will last a minimum of six hours.
The training referred to in the fourth paragraph of Article L. 3332-1-1, adapted to the specific conditions of the activity of persons who offer one or more guest rooms for rent, consists of seven hours of instruction given over one day.
The training provided to update the knowledge required by the eighth paragraph of article L. 3332-1-1 with a view to renewing the operating licence lasts a minimum of six hours.
This training consists of a theoretical part, relating to knowledge of the legislation and regulations applicable to on-trade drinks outlets and restaurants, and obligations in terms of public health and public order, as well as a practical part consisting of simulated situations and an assessment of the knowledge acquired.
The programme and organisation of these training courses are set out in a joint order issued by the Ministers of Health and the Interior.
II – The programme for the initial and refresher training courses referred to in the second and eighth paragraphs of article L. 3332-1-1 consists of seven hours’ instruction over one day. These lessons must not include any form of propaganda, advertising or direct or indirect promotion of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
This programme comprises a theoretical part, relating to knowledge of the legislation and regulations applicable to the retail trade, takeaway sales and distance selling, and obligations in terms of public health and public order, as well as a practical part comprising simulated situations and an assessment of the knowledge acquired.
The syllabus and organisation of the training courses are specified by joint order of the ministers responsible for health and the interior.
