I.-The Ethics Committee of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development is made up of persons chosen for their independence and the quality of their expertise in the field of health ethics.
Its chairman and members are appointed by the Chairman of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development.
II – The Ethics Committee provides assistance, advice and prevents conflicts of interest. Its tasks are as follows:
1° To contribute, through its opinions, to the complete and uniform application of the rules relating to the prevention of conflicts of interest within the bodies of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development and the continuing professional development organisations or structures with regard to the actions financed by the Agency, as well as to the independence of the persons in charge of carrying out these actions;
2° Ensure, with the Agency’s assistance, compliance with competition rules and best practice in terms of preventing conflicts of interest and ensuring the independence of organisations and persons responsible for the professional training of healthcare professionals.
