Article R4031-24 of the French Public Health Code

The National Commission shall take all measures necessary for the organisation of the electoral operations, and in particular shall:

1° Draw up the electoral lists and rule on any complaints relating thereto;

2° Receives and registers candidatures;

3° Controls electoral propaganda;

4° Distribute the documents required for the electoral campaign and voting operations.

It sets up an electoral monitoring committee in each region, in which each of the candidate trade union organisations in the region concerned may participate.

La commission nationale prend toutes mesures nécessaires à l’organisation des opérations électorales, et notamment :

1° Etablit les listes électorales et statue sur les réclamations afférentes ;

2° Reçoit et enregistre les candidatures ;

3° Contrôle la propagande électorale ;

4° Diffuse les documents nécessaires à la campagne électorale et aux opérations de vote.

Elle met en place dans chaque région un comité de suivi électoral auquel peut participer chacune des organisations syndicales candidates dans la région concernée.
