Article R4127-229 of the French Public Health Code

The practice of dentistry normally includes the drawing up by the dental surgeon, in accordance with the observations he is in a position to make in the practice of his art, of the certificates, attestations or documents the production of which is prescribed by the regulations in force.

Any certificate, attestation or document issued by the dental surgeon must bear his handwritten signature.

L’exercice de l’art dentaire comporte normalement l’établissement par le chirurgien-dentiste, conformément aux constatations qu’il est en mesure de faire dans l’exercice de son art, des certificats, attestations ou documents dont la production est prescrite par la réglementation en vigueur.

Tout certificat, attestation ou document délivré par le chirurgien-dentiste doit comporter sa signature manuscrite.
