Article R4127-268 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of a significant and irreconcilable difference of opinion during a consultation, the treating dental surgeon is entitled to decline all responsibility and to refuse to apply the treatment recommended by the consultant.

If this treatment is accepted by the patient, the dental surgeon may cease treatment.

En cas de divergence de vue importante et irréductible au cours d’une consultation, le chirurgien-dentiste traitant est en droit de décliner toute responsabilité et de refuser d’appliquer le traitement préconisé par le consultant.

Si ce traitement est accepté par le patient, le chirurgien-dentiste peut cesser ses soins.
