Article R4127-324 of the French Public Health Code

A midwife may participate, under the direction of a doctor, in the treatment of any patient with a gynaecological condition.

In accordance with the provisions of articles L. 2212-8 and L. 2213-2, no midwife is required to assist in the voluntary interruption of pregnancy.
