A midwife may participate, under the direction of a doctor, in the treatment of any patient with a gynaecological condition.

In accordance with the provisions of articles L. 2212-8 and L. 2213-2, no midwife is required to assist in the voluntary interruption of pregnancy.

La sage-femme peut participer, sous la direction d’un médecin, au traitement de toute patiente présentant une affection gynécologique.

Conformément aux dispositions des articles L. 2212-8 et L. 2213-2, aucune sage-femme n’est tenue de concourir à une interruption volontaire de grossesse.
