Article R4127-87 of the French Public Health Code

The doctor may enlist the help of a self-employed collaborating doctor, under the conditions set out in article 18 of law no. 2005-882 of 2 August 2005 in favour of small and medium-sized enterprises, or of an employed collaborating doctor.

Each of them carries out his medical activity in complete independence and in compliance with the rules of the profession, in particular the free choice of doctor and the prohibition of competition.

Le médecin peut s’attacher le concours d’un médecin collaborateur libéral, dans les conditions prévues par l’article 18 de la loi n° 2005-882 du 2 août 2005 en faveur des petites et moyennes entreprises, ou d’un médecin collaborateur salarié.

Chacun d’entre eux exerce son activité médicale en toute indépendance et dans le respect des règles de la profession, notamment le libre choix du médecin et l’interdiction du compérage.
