Article R4131-20 of the French Public Health Code

Doctors’ cooperatives are administered by a managing director chosen from among the members.

The manager is appointed by the members acting unanimously. The term of office, which may not exceed six years, is set by the Articles of Association. The Executive Chairman may be re-elected. In companies with more than two members, the other members, acting unanimously, may dismiss the Executive Chairman.

Les coopératives de médecins sont administrées par un gérant pris parmi les associés.

Le gérant est nommé par les associés statuant à l’unanimité. La durée de son mandat, qui ne peut excéder six ans, est fixée par les statuts. Le gérant est rééligible. Dans les sociétés comprenant plus de deux membres, la révocation du gérant peut être prononcée par les autres associés statuant à l’unanimité.
