Article R4163-44 of the French Labour Code

The agents referred to in the second paragraph of article L. 4163-16 are sworn and approved under the conditions defined by order of the Minister for Social Security, Labour and Agriculture to carry out the inspections provided for in the same article and the tasks relating to the settlement of disputes between an employer and an employee provided for in article L. 4163-18. In the event of an infringement, they are authorised to draw up official reports, which are valid until proven otherwise.

Les agents mentionnés au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 4163-16 sont, pour l’exercice des missions de contrôle prévues au même article et des missions liées au règlement des différends entre un employeur et un salarié prévu à l’article L. 4163-18, assermentés et agréés dans les conditions définies par arrêté du ministre chargé de la sécurité sociale, du travail et de l’agriculture. Ils ont qualité pour dresser en cas d’infraction des procès-verbaux faisant foi jusqu’à preuve du contraire.
