Article R4216-29 of the French Labour Code

A joint order of the ministers responsible for labour, agriculture and construction defines the terms and conditions for applying the provisions of this section, in particular:
1° The characteristics of exits and the lateral isolation of the building from another building;
2° The classification of materials and construction elements for certain parts of the building;
3° Smoke extraction rules.

Un arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés du travail, de l’agriculture et de la construction définit les modalités d’application des dispositions de la présente section, notamment :
1° Les caractéristiques des sorties et celles de l’isolement latéral du bâtiment avec un autre bâtiment ;
2° La classification des matériaux et des éléments de construction de certaines parties du bâtiment ;
3° Les règles de désenfumage.
