Article R422-38 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The decision to extend the company must immediately be brought to the attention of the Director General of the Institut national de la propriété industrielle, accompanied either by a copy of the full minutes of the meeting, or by the deed from which the extension results, consisting of one of the originals if this deed is in private agreement, or of a copy if it has been drawn up in authenticated form.

La décision de proroger la société doit être immédiatement portée à la connaissance du directeur général de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle, accompagnée soit d’une copie du procès-verbal complet de l’assemblée, soit de l’acte d’où résulte la prorogation, constitué par l’un des originaux si cet acte est sous seing privé, ou par une expédition s’il a été établi sous la forme authentique.
