University hospitals devote a minimum percentage of 0.50% of the remuneration of their pharmacists, within the meaning ofarticle L. 242-1 of the Social Security Code, to the financing of continuing professional development initiatives for the pharmacists they employ.
The other public health establishments devote a minimum percentage of 0.75% of the remuneration of their pharmacists, within the meaning of article L. 242-1 of the social security code, to the financing of continuing professional development initiatives for the pharmacists they employ.
The continuing professional development initiatives of the pharmacists mentioned in article L. 4222-7 and of the pharmacists whose employers are the State and local authorities are financed within the framework of the appropriations provided for by the legislation relating to each of these public services.
Continuing professional development initiatives for salaried pharmacists in the private sector are financed under the conditions set out inarticle L. 6331-1 of the French Labour Code.
Public and private sector employers may discharge all or part of the obligation set out in this article by paying all or part of the sums thus calculated to an approved joint collecting body for their professional branch or field of activity or to the approved body mentioned inarticle 16 of order no. 2005-406 of 2 May 2005 simplifying the legal regime for health establishments, in compliance with the rules for organising and paying for lifelong training that are specific to them.
