Article R4301-2 of the French Public Health Code

The field(s) of intervention open to advanced practice nursing, for which the corresponding entry is included in the advanced practice nursing State diploma, are as follows:

1° Stabilised chronic pathologies; prevention and common polypathologies in primary care. The list of stabilised chronic pathologies is drawn up by order of the Minister for Health;

2° Oncology and haemato-oncology;

3° Chronic renal disease, dialysis, renal transplantation;

4° Psychiatry and mental health;

5° Emergencies, on condition that this activity is carried out by a health establishment with an authorisation for emergency medical care given in application of article R. 6123-1.

Le ou les domaines d’intervention ouverts à l’exercice infirmier en pratique avancée, dont la mention correspondante est inscrite dans le diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier en pratique avancée, sont les suivants :

1° Pathologies chroniques stabilisées ; prévention et polypathologies courantes en soins primaires. La liste des pathologies chroniques stabilisées est établie par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé ;

2° Oncologie et hémato-oncologie ;

3° Maladie rénale chronique, dialyse, transplantation rénale ;

4° Psychiatrie et santé mentale ;

5° Urgences, à la condition que cette activité soit exercée par un établissement de santé disposant d’une autorisation d’activité de soins de médecine d’urgence donnée en application de l’article R. 6123-1.
