I.-A.-The nurse who is a state-qualified anaesthetist carries out his or her activities under the exclusive supervision of an anaesthetist-intensive care doctor, provided that this doctor :
1° Has previously examined the patient and drawn up the anaesthetic strategy in writing, including the objectives to be achieved, the choice and the conditions for implementing the anaesthetic technique;
2° Is present on the site where the anaesthetic procedures or post-intervention monitoring are carried out, and can intervene at any time.
B.-The nurse who is a state-qualified anaesthetist is, under these conditions, the only one authorised to :
1° Perform the following techniques :
a) General anaesthesia ;
b) Loco-regional anaesthesia and reinjections where a device has been inserted by an anaesthetist;
c) Intra-operative resuscitation;
2° Carry out the care and procedures necessary for the implementation of the techniques mentioned in a, b and c of 1°;
3° Carry out, in the post-interventional surveillance room, the procedures relating to the techniques mentioned in a and b of 1° and continue intra-operative resuscitation.
II-The nurse who is a state-qualified anaesthetist, under the exclusive supervision of an anaesthetist-intensive care doctor, may intervene to manage post-operative pain by practising the techniques mentioned in b of 1° of B of I.
III -The nurse anaesthetist is the only person authorised to transport stable ventilated, intubated or sedated patients as part of inter-hospital nursing transport.
IV -Health transport as mentioned in article R. 4311-10 is carried out as a matter of priority by a state-qualified nurse anaesthetist.
