Article R4312-11 of the French Public Health Code

Nurses must listen to, examine, advise, educate or care for all persons with the same conscience, whatever their origin, morals, social or family situation, beliefs or religion, disability, state of health, age, sex, reputation, feelings they may have towards them or their situation with regard to the social protection system.

He shall assist them in all circumstances.

They must always maintain a correct and attentive attitude towards the person in their care.

L’infirmier doit écouter, examiner, conseiller, éduquer ou soigner avec la même conscience toutes les personnes quels que soient, notamment, leur origine, leurs mœurs, leur situation sociale ou de famille, leur croyance ou leur religion, leur handicap, leur état de santé, leur âge, leur sexe, leur réputation, les sentiments qu’il peut éprouver à leur égard ou leur situation vis-à-vis du système de protection sociale.


Il leur apporte son concours en toutes circonstances.


Il ne doit jamais se départir d’une attitude correcte et attentive envers la personne prise en charge.
