Article R4321-104 of the French Public Health Code

When the opinions of the consultant masseur-physiotherapist and the treating masseur-physiotherapist differ profoundly, the treating masseur-physiotherapist informs the patient. If the opinion of the masseur-physiotherapist consulted prevails with the patient or those around him, the treating masseur-physiotherapist is free to cease treatment. The masseur-physiotherapist consulted must not, on his own initiative, summon or re-examine the patient during the course of the treatment for which he was consulted.

Quand les avis du masseur-kinésithérapeute consulté et du masseur-kinésithérapeute traitant diffèrent profondément, ce dernier avise le patient. Si l’avis du masseur-kinésithérapeute consulté prévaut auprès du patient ou de son entourage, le masseur-kinésithérapeute traitant est libre de cesser les soins. Le masseur-kinésithérapeute consulté ne doit pas, de sa propre initiative, au cours du traitement ayant motivé la consultation, convoquer ou réexaminer le patient.
