Article R4321-105 of the French Public Health Code

When several physiotherapists collaborate in the examination or treatment of a patient, they keep each other informed with the patient’s consent. Each practitioner assumes his or her personal responsibilities and ensures that the patient is kept informed. Each practitioner is free to refuse to assist, or to withdraw his or her assistance, provided that he or she does no harm to the patient and informs his or her colleague(s).

Lorsque plusieurs masseurs-kinésithérapeutes collaborent à l’examen ou au traitement d’un patient, ils se tiennent mutuellement informés avec le consentement du patient. Chacun des praticiens assume ses responsabilités personnelles et veille à l’information du patient. Chacun peut librement refuser de prêter son concours, ou le retirer, à condition de ne pas nuire au patient et d’en avertir son ou ses confrères.
