Article R4322-50 of the French Public Health Code

Any certificate, attestation or document given to a patient must bear the handwritten signature of the chiropodist and be written in French; a translation into the patient’s language may be provided at the patient’s expense. It is forbidden to draw up a biased report, certificate or attestation of convenience.
