Article R4322-50 of the French Public Health Code

Any certificate, attestation or document given to a patient must bear the handwritten signature of the chiropodist and be written in French; a translation into the patient’s language may be provided at the patient’s expense. It is forbidden to draw up a biased report, certificate or attestation of convenience.

Tout certificat, toute attestation ou tout document remis à un patient doit comporter la signature manuscrite du pédicure-podologue et être rédigé en langue française ; une traduction dans la langue du patient peut être remise à celui-ci à ses frais. Il est interdit d’établir un rapport tendancieux, un certificat ou une attestation de complaisance.
