If the chiropodist becomes aware, in the course of his or her practice, that a person has been subjected to abuse or ill-treatment or if his or her attention is drawn to visible signs of aggression or coercion, he or she must, subject to the consent of the person concerned, inform the judicial authorities.

Si le pédicure-podologue constate, à l’occasion de l’exercice de sa profession, qu’une personne a subi des sévices ou des mauvais traitements ou si son attention est appelée par des marques visibles d’agression ou de contrainte, il doit, sous réserve de l’accord de l’intéressé, en informer l’autorité judiciaire.
