Article R4322-85 of the French Public Health Code

A chiropodist who temporarily ceases to practise may only be replaced by a practitioner registered with the Association. The president of the regional or inter-regional council of the Order must be informed immediately.

The replacement may not exceed four months, unless an exemption is granted by the regional or inter-regional council.

It must be the subject of a written contract in accordance with a standard contract drawn up by the Conseil national de l’ordre.

At the end of the replacement period, all information relevant to the continuity of care must be sent to the holder.

Le pédicure-podologue qui cesse momentanément son exercice professionnel ne peut se faire remplacer que par un praticien inscrit au tableau de l’ordre. Le président du conseil régional ou interrégional de l’ordre doit en être immédiatement informé.

Le remplacement ne peut excéder une durée de quatre mois, sauf dérogation accordée par le conseil régional ou interrégional de l’ordre.

Il doit faire l’objet d’un contrat écrit conforme à un contrat type établi par le Conseil national de l’ordre.

A l’expiration du remplacement, tous les éléments utiles à la continuité des soins doivent être transmis au titulaire.
