Article R4322-89 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The chiropodist or the practice partnership may enlist the assistance of one or more freelance chiropodists, in accordance with the conditions laid down inArticle 18 of Law No 2005-882 of 2 August 2005 in favour of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Each of the chiropodists carries out his or her activity in complete independence, without any relationship of subordination, and in compliance with the rules of the profession, in particular the free choice of the patient and the prohibition of competition.

The period of self-employed collaboration may not exceed four years. After this period, the terms of the partnership are renegotiated.

II-Any collaboration, association or partnership between chiropodists is the subject of a written contract which is submitted to the regional or inter-regional council of the Association and which respects the professional independence of each of them.

I.-Le pédicure-podologue ou la société d’exercice peut s’attacher le concours d’un ou de plusieurs pédicures-podologues collaborateurs libéraux, dans les conditions prévues par l’article 18 de la loi n° 2005-882 du 2 août 2005 en faveur des petites et moyennes entreprises.

Chacun des pédicures-podologues exerce son activité en toute indépendance, sans lien de subordination, et dans le respect des règles de la profession, notamment le libre choix du patient et l’interdiction du compérage.

La durée de la collaboration libérale ne peut excéder quatre années. Passé ce délai, les modalités de la collaboration sont renégociées.

II.-Toute collaboration, association ou société entre pédicures-podologues fait l’objet d’un contrat écrit qui est soumis au conseil régional ou interrégional de l’ordre et qui respecte l’indépendance professionnelle de chacun d’entre eux.
