Article R4322-90 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of the death of a chiropodist, the regional or inter-regional council of the association may, at the request of the heirs or, failing this, the authorised representative appointed underarticle 812 of the Civil Code, authorise another practitioner to run the practice for a period which the regional or inter-regional council shall determine according to the particular situation.

En cas de décès d’un pédicure-podologue, le conseil régional ou interrégional de l’ordre peut, à la demande des ayants droit ou, à défaut, du mandataire désigné dans le cadre de l’article 812 du code civil, autoriser un autre praticien à assurer le fonctionnement du cabinet pour une durée que le conseil régional ou interrégional détermine en fonction des situations particulières.
