Depending on the sector of activity in which they work and the needs encountered, medical electroradiology technicians propose, organise or take part in various actions, particularly in the fields of education, research, prevention, screening, training and supervision. These actions concern in particular :
1° Initial and continuing training for medical electroradiology manipulators and other professionals ;
2° Collaboration, in particular with members of other health and social professions, in carrying out coordinated interventions, including prevention;
3° Research in his professional field, particularly with regard to patient care, hygiene, safety, radiation protection and quality assurance.
He/she also participates in rescue operations, disaster medicine and humanitarian aid.
The medical electroradiology technician adapts his or her professional practice to developments in science and technology, in conjunction with the medical specialities or other professions concerned.
