Article R4363-1 of the French Public Health Code

The following is punishable by a fifth-class fine for a hearing aid acoustician:

1° Issue a hearing aid without a prior medical prescription ;

2° Carrying out their activity in premises that do not meet the requirements of article L. 4361-6.

Est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la cinquième classe le fait pour un audioprothésiste :

1° De délivrer un appareil de prothèse auditive sans prescription médicale préalable ;

2° D’exercer son activité dans un local ne répondant pas aux prescriptions de l’article L. 4361-6.
