Article R4425-2 of the French Labour Code

The employer shall inform the workers, the social and economic committee and the occupational physician:
1° Without delay, of any accident or incident which may have led to the release of a biological agent liable to cause a serious infection or illness in humans;
2° As quickly as possible, of the cause of this accident or incident and of the measures taken or to be taken to remedy the situation.

L’employeur informe les travailleurs, le comité social et économique et le médecin du travail :
1° Sans délai, de tout accident ou incident ayant pu entraîner la dissémination d’un agent biologique susceptible de provoquer chez l’homme une infection ou une maladie grave ;
2° Le plus rapidement possible, de la cause de cet accident ou incident et des mesures prises ou à prendre pour remédier à la situation.
