Article R4443-1 of the French Labour Code

A worker’s daily exposure to mechanical vibrations, referred to an eight-hour reference period, may not exceed the following exposure limit values:
1° 5 m/s2 for vibrations transmitted to the hands and arms;
2° 1.15 m/s2 for vibrations transmitted to the whole body.
