Article R4451-102 of the French Labour Code

Each worker involved in a radiological emergency situation assigned to the first group:

1° Receives information adapted to the radiological emergency situation that has arisen and to the conditions of the intervention;

2° Confirms his or her agreement to the intervention;

3° Benefits from personal protective equipment adapted to the nature of the intervention in a radiological emergency situation;

4° Is subject to individual dosimetric monitoring such as that provided for in Article R. 4451-64;

5° Benefits from external exposure monitoring using an operational dosimeter.

Chaque travailleur intervenant en situation d’urgence radiologique affecté au premier groupe :


1° Reçoit une information adaptée à la situation d’urgence radiologique survenue et aux conditions d’intervention ;


2° Confirme son accord pour l’intervention ;


3° Bénéficie des moyens de protection individuelle adaptés à la nature de l’intervention en situation d’urgence radiologique ;


4° Fait l’objet d’une surveillance dosimétrique individuelle telle que celle prévue à l’article R. 4451-64 ;


5° Bénéficie d’un suivi de l’exposition externe au moyen d’un dosimètre opérationnel.
