Article R4451-108 of the French Labour Code

At the end of the radiological emergency, the occupational health physician shall prescribe all the examinations he considers relevant to assess the state of health of the workers involved in the radiological emergency.

He will draw up a dosimetric report for each worker, which he will record in the occupational health medical file referred to in Article L. 4624-8 and give to the worker.

If necessary, he will seek technical or methodological support from the Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté Nucléaire.

A l’issue de la situation d’urgence radiologique, le médecin du travail prescrit tous les examens qu’il juge pertinents pour apprécier l’état de santé des travailleurs intervenant en situation d’urgence radiologique.

Il établit pour chaque travailleur un bilan dosimétrique qu’il consigne dans le dossier médical en santé au travail mentionné à l’article L. 4624-8 et qu’il remet au travailleur.

Il recourt, si nécessaire, à l’appui technique ou méthodologique de l’Institut de radioprotection et de sûreté nucléaire.
