Article R4451-24 of the French Labour Code

I.-The employer shall use appropriate means to delimit the supervised, controlled or radon zones that he has identified and shall limit access to them.

The employer shall delimit an extremity zone when the monitored and controlled zones do not allow extremity exposure to be controlled and compliance with the occupational exposure limit values provided for in articles R. 4451-6 and R. 4451-8 to be guaranteed.

II.-The employer shall put in place:

1° Specific signs appropriate to the designation of the zone;

2° Appropriate signage when the demarcation of supervised and controlled areas does not guarantee compliance with the dose limit value for the crystalline lens laid down in articles R. 4451-6 and R. 4451-8.

I.-L’employeur délimite, par des moyens adaptés, les zones surveillée, contrôlées ou radon qu’il a identifiées et en limite l’accès.


L’employeur délimite une zone d’extrémités lorsque les zones surveillée et contrôlées ne permettent pas de maîtriser l’exposition des extrémités et de garantir le respect des valeurs limites d’exposition professionnelle prévues aux articles R. 4451-6 et R. 4451-8.


II.-L’employeur met en place :


1° Une signalisation spécifique et appropriée à la désignation de la zone ;


2° Une signalisation adaptée lorsque la délimitation des zones surveillée et contrôlées ne permet pas de garantir le respect de la valeur limite de dose pour le cristallin fixée aux articles R. 4451-6 et R. 4451-8.
