Article R4451-32 of the French Labour Code

Unclassified workers may have access to a blue or green supervised zone and to a radon zone subject to authorisation by the employer on the basis of the individual assessment of the risk due to ionising radiation provided for in article R. 4451-52.

These workers may also, for a reason justified in advance, have access to a yellow controlled zone. In such cases, the employer will implement special preventive measures, including enhanced information.

Les travailleurs ne faisant pas l’objet d’un classement peuvent accéder à une zone surveillée bleue ou contrôlée verte ainsi qu’à une zone radon sous réserve d’y être autorisé par l’employeur sur la base de l’évaluation individuelle du risque dû aux rayonnements ionisants prévue à l’article R. 4451-52.

Ces travailleurs peuvent également, pour un motif justifié préalablement, accéder à une zone contrôlée jaune. L’employeur met alors en œuvre des dispositions particulières de prévention, notamment une information renforcée.
