Article R4461-3 of the French Labour Code

As part of the risk assessment provided for in Article R. 4121-1, the employer shall record the following in particular in the single assessment document:

1° The level, type and duration of exposure of workers to hyperbaric risk;

2° The impact on the health and safety of workers exposed to this risk;

3° The impact on health and safety of other risks associated with the work and their interactions with hyperbaric risk;

4° Environmental variables such as currents, meteorology, temperature, turbidity and any other element having an impact on the conditions of intervention;

5° The technical characteristics of the work equipment;

6° The specific recommendations of the occupational physician concerning the monitoring of workers’ health.

Dans le cadre de l’évaluation des risques prévue à l’article R. 4121-1, l’employeur consigne en particulier les éléments suivants dans le document unique d’évaluation :


1° Le niveau, le type et la durée d’exposition au risque hyperbare des travailleurs ;


2° L’incidence sur la santé et la sécurité des travailleurs exposés à ce risque ;


3° L’incidence sur la santé et la sécurité des autres risques liés aux interventions et leurs interactions avec le risque hyperbare ;


4° Les variables d’environnement tels que les courants, la météorologie, la température, la turbidité et tout autre élément ayant une incidence sur les conditions d’intervention ;


5° Les caractéristiques techniques des équipements de travail ;


6° Les recommandations spécifiques du médecin du travail concernant la surveillance de la santé des travailleurs.
