Article R4515-1 of the French Labour Code

The provisions of this chapter apply to loading or unloading operations carried out by external companies transporting goods from or to a location outside the user company premises, known as the “host company”.
They derogate from the provisions relating to:
1° Transmission to the Labour Inspectorate of the statement of hours spent carrying out the operation, as provided for in article R. 4511-12 ;
2° Prior joint inspection as provided for in articles R. 4512-2 to R. 4512-5 ;
3° The prevention plan provided for in articles R. 4512-6 to R. 4512-11 ;
4° Informing and communicating to the social and economic committee the information and documents provided for in articles R. 4514-1 and R. 4514-2.

Les dispositions du présent chapitre s’appliquent aux opérations de chargement ou de déchargement réalisées par des entreprises extérieures transportant des marchandises, en provenance ou à destination d’un lieu extérieur à l’enceinte de l’entreprise utilisatrice, dite « entreprise d’accueil ».
Elles dérogent aux dispositions relatives :
1° A la transmission à l’inspection du travail de l’état des heures passées à l’exécution de l’opération, prévue à l’article R. 4511-12 ;
2° A l’inspection commune préalable prévue aux articles R. 4512-2 à R. 4512-5 ;
3° Au plan de prévention prévu aux articles R. 4512-6 à R. 4512-11 ;
4° A l’information et à la communication au comité social et économique des renseignements et documents prévues aux articles R. 4514-1 et R. 4514-2.
