Article R4534-109 of the French Labour Code

To determine the minimum distances to be observed in relation to normally energised bare conductive parts, account must be taken of:
1° All possible movements of the energised bare conductive parts of the electrical line, pipe or installation;
2° All possible movements, shifting, swinging, whipping, particularly in the event of a broken component, or falling of the equipment used for the planned work.

Il est tenu compte, pour déterminer les distances minimales à respecter par rapport aux pièces conductrices nues normalement sous tension :
1° De tous les mouvements possibles des pièces conductrices nues sous tension de la ligne, canalisation ou installation électrique ;
2° De tous les mouvements, déplacements, balancements, fouettements, notamment en cas de rupture éventuelle d’un organe, ou chutes possibles des engins utilisés pour les travaux envisagés.
