Welding, riveting and sandblasting work may only be carried out by competent workers.
Personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gaiters or leggings, aprons or protective waistcoats, “pile support” harnesses, masks or bonnets and safety goggles, are provided for these workers and their assistants, to protect them against the risks of burning or splashing of materials.

Les travaux de soudage, de rivetage et de sablage ne peuvent être confiés qu’à des travailleurs compétents.
Des moyens de protection individuelle, tels que des gants, des guêtres ou cuissards, des tabliers ou gilets de protection, des baudriers « supports de tas », des masques ou cagoules, des lunettes de sûreté, sont mis à la disposition de ces travailleurs et de leurs aides, afin de les protéger contre les risques de brûlure ou de projections de matières.
