In all underground structures, the risks of landslides or falling boulders are prevented, using methods appropriate to the height of the structure:
1° Either by means of a supported or suspended support and a lining appropriate to the nature of the ground;
2° Or by means of monitoring, probing and methodical purging of the facing and crown.

Dans tous les ouvrages souterrains, les risques d’éboulement ou de chutes de blocs sont prévenus, selon des modalités appropriées à la hauteur de l’ouvrage :
1° Soit au moyen d’un soutènement appuyé ou suspendu et d’un garnissage approprié à la nature des terrains ;
2° Soit grâce à la surveillance, au sondage et à la purge méthodique des parements et de la couronne.
