Article R4542-6 of the French Labour Code

The display screen has the following characteristics:
1° The characters are of good definition and formed in a clear manner, of sufficient size and with adequate space between characters and lines;
2° The image is stable;
3° The luminance or contrast between the characters and the background of the screen are easily adaptable by the user of screen terminals and easily adaptable to the ambient conditions;
4° The screen is easily orientable and tiltable to adapt to the needs of the user. It can be installed on a separate stand or on an adjustable table;
5° The screen is free from reflections and reverberations likely to disturb the user.

L’écran de visualisation obéit aux caractéristiques suivantes :
1° Les caractères sont d’une bonne définition et formés d’une manière claire, d’une dimension suffisante et avec un espace adéquat entre les caractères et les lignes ;
2° L’image est stable ;
3° La luminance ou le contraste entre les caractères et le fond de l’écran sont facilement adaptables par l’utilisateur de terminaux à écrans et facilement adaptables aux conditions ambiantes ;
4° L’écran est orientable et inclinable facilement pour s’adapter aux besoins de l’utilisateur. Il peut être installé sur un pied séparé ou sur une table réglable ;
5° L’écran est exempt de reflets et de réverbérations susceptibles de gêner l’utilisateur.
